Fiberall ODVA series waterproof fiber connector, is a waterproof way with plastic spiral bayonet and clamping rubber washer, to provide protection for the optical fiber connector in wet, oily and dust environment. Thus, the waterproof and dustproof effects can reach a certain grade so the ODVA can be suitable for harsh environment. In general, the waterproof and dustproof level of ODVA is IP67 grade.

IP67 is a security level, it defines an interface protection ability for liquid and solid particles; wherein IP is abbreviation of Ingress Protection Rating (or International Protection code), the 2 digits after IP refer to solid and liquid protection level, the first digit is solid protection level, the value range is 0-6, from large particles to dust; the second digit is liquid protection level, the value range is 0-8, from the vertical drip to pressure under water. "0" means no protection. The larger the number, the higher the protection level. IP67 is the protection of dust inhalation (overall prevention of contact, dust penetration protection), short immersion (immersion protection).

Fiberall ODVA series waterproof fiber optic connector, according to the inner fiber connector, can be divided into ODVA-DLC, ODVA-SC, ODVA-MPO three kinds. Waterproof ODVA adapter is also divided into ODVA-DLC, ODVA-SC, ODVA-MPO, but according to the mating way, is divided into docking type ODVA adapter and socket type ODVA adapter. The docking ODVA adapter is used to connect two ODVA waterproof connectors to each other.
